You will plan how those resources reach the island and move between field locations, anticipate supply and access constraints, and adjust priorities as assessments reveal new needs. Working with construction, safety, and project controls teams, you will help ensure that the right resources arrive where and when field crews need them.

This role will require an onsite presence in Kauai, Hawaii and is eligible for per diem related expenses when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop logistics plans for mobilization, equipment delivery, materials staging, storage, and demobilization.
  • Coordinate shipments, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams to support construction and restoration schedules.
  • Track critical materials and long lead items, identify supply constraints, and recommend recovery actions.
  • Maintain inventory, delivery, and receiving records and coordinate secure storage and distribution.
  • Plan transportation and site access for personnel and equipment across operational facilities.
  • Coordinate with construction, safety, scheduling, and cost teams on changing work priorities and resource needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, construction management, business administration, or a related field and 8+ years of logistics and supply chain coordination for construction, infrastructure, or disaster recovery projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check in accordance with company policy.
  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 16+ years of logistics and supply chain coordination for construction, infrastructure, or disaster recovery projects.
  • Experience supporting federal facilities or remote island construction logistics.
  • Knowledge of procurement, freight coordination, and material control systems.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
