Job Description

About the Role

Fortune Brands is building a company that is determined to win, and in luxury plumbing you win by being believed. House of Rohl is the portfolio you will carry: ROHL, Perrin & Rowe, Shaws, Victoria + Albert, Riobel, and the decorative hardware brands Emtek and Schaub. Perrin & Rowe still builds taps and showers in England. Shaws has been making fireclay sinks in Lancashire since the 1890s. Victoria + Albert baths are cast from a volcanic limestone composite and finished by hand. That is the story you get to tell.

As Luxury Sales Manager, you own your territory and the relationships that decide what ends up in the specification: showroom partners, builders, architects and the wider design community. You will grow the territory by finding new business, protect how the brands are presented everywhere they appear, and become the person your showrooms call first.

How we win here is not complicated. Execute every day. Be accountable. Do what needs to be done.

POSITION LOCATION/TRAVEL: This is a remote, field role based in Austin, TX. You will have a company car, roughly two overnight days a month, and the rest of your time in showrooms, on projects and in front of designers.

What You'll Do

  • · Serve as the trusted representative for House of Rohl plumbing product lines, managing sales activity across your assigned territory.
  • · Build and hold strong relationships with authorized showroom personnel, management and ownership, supporting sales goals, display objectives and training.
  • · Identify and develop new business within luxury showrooms and across the broader trade network, including dealers, builders and distributors.
  • · Build relationships across the specification community, including architects, designers, builders and hospitality clients, to position House of Rohl products early.
  • · Partner with Customer Service, Technical Support, Sales Management and Marketing to address territory needs and get customers’ answers quickly.
  • · Make sure House of Rohl brand standards show up consistently in showroom displays and in every customer interaction.
  • · Share market insight and customer feedback that sharpens business development and strengthens how we are positioned.
  • · Deliver against your sales targets and annual performance goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in outside sales.
  • · Prior experience calling on interior designers, architects, luxury kitchen and bath showrooms, builders or plumbers.
  • · The ability to build and hold relationships with luxury clientele, and to communicate credibly with designers, architects and showroom owners.
  • · The ability to read market conditions and competitive activity and turn that into a plan for your territory.
  • · Availability for occasional evening and weekend commitments, such as showroom events and industry functions.
  • · Valid driver's license.
  • · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Nice to Haves

  • · A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business or a related field.
  • · Experience selling decorative hardware, plumbing fixtures or related building materials.
  • · Experience working with luxury showrooms and the specification community, including designers, architects, builders and high-end dealers.
