- Develops and executes a comprehensive maintenance and facility management strategy to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Collaborates with production, engineering, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule maintenance and facility activities that minimize downtime and production interruptions.
- Conducts regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
- Manages the maintenance budget, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation for maintenance projects and repairs.
- Implements preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce overall maintenance costs.
- Coordinates and oversees the installation and commissioning of new equipment and facility upgrades.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities repairs, and equipment performance to inform decision making and improve processes.
- Leads, coaches, and manages a team of maintenance technicians, facility personnel, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient day-to-day operations.

- Advises Team Members of any potential hazards and/or provide written instructions as to the measures to protect the team member.
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of accident/incident investigation reports.
- Administers first aid when necessary.
- Corrects or commends health and safety performance.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, facilities management, or a related field. Skilled Trade CofQ or complementary work experience accepted.
- 5+ years proven experience in maintenance and/or facility management within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
- Strong technical knowledge of related manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and facility management software.
- Experience implementing process improvements.
