What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and operations staff to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of work orders.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work.
- Monitor and track equipment performance and maintenance work to identify trends and potential issues.
- Procure necessary parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance work, including costs, timeframes, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of major maintenance projects and facility upgrades.
- Track repair history of process support systems and equipment.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Particulate in ensuring that all maintenance activity is completed within designated timeframe and assist filing proper documentation per Standard Operating Procedures as necessary for extensions.
- Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and protocols.
- Make recommendations regarding improved machine performance.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Manage own time and professional development, accountable for own results and prioritize own workflow.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Strong understanding of biotech equipment, systems, and facility operations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in a biotech environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Sound interpersonal, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- Previous Biopharma experience
- Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration PSM, Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} policies and procedures
