Job SummaryThe Manager, Accounting (Revenue) leads the execution of the Company’s revenue accounting processes, ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition across the U.S. business. This role oversees Gross to Net (GTN) calculations, leads interpretation and application of IFRS 15, and ensures the integrity of revenue-related controls, documentation, and reporting. The Manager partners cross functionally with Commercial Finance, Sales, Contract Marketing, Legal, IT, and Customer Financial Services to evaluate contract terms, assess revenue impacts, and ensure accurate and transparent accounting.
This position mentors revenue accounting staff, oversees routine revenue close activities, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen financial accuracy, data quality, and audit readiness.
*This position requires working onsite 3 days per week at our U.S. headquarters in Lake Zurich, IL.
• Salary Range: $117,000-130,000.
• Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 10% of the base salary.
• Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

- Oversee recurring revenue recognition and monthly/quarterly close activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and internal policy, present results in Management Review.
- Manage preparation, review, and posting of Gross-to-Net (GTN) journal entries, accruals, and reserve reconciliations.
- Evaluate customer contracts for revenue implications and determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with established guidance.
- Maintain end-to-end understanding of revenue processes, systems, and data flows to ensure accuracy and integrity, under direction of leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Sales, Contracts, Customer Financial Services, and Legal to assess contract structure, pricing, and revenue impacts. Collaborate with IT and Finance Systems to resolve system issues, validate data accuracy, and implement process enhancements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and GTN methodologies.
- Lead or support system implementations and upgrades affecting revenue processes.
- Manage internal and external audit activities related to revenue and GTN reserves.
- Partner with Internal Controls to evaluate and strengthen controls across the revenue lifecycle, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to Senior Accountants.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
- 8+ years of progressive Accounting Experience and experience with Revenue Recognition are desirable.
- CPA required
- Must possess advanced Excel skills. Understanding of other MS Office applications also required.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus.
