About the Role

We’re seeking a Manager to join Chime’s Investor Relations and Capital Markets team. In this role, you’ll support capital markets transactions that are foundational to Chime’s growth, including financings for our liquidity products (warehouses, securitizations, forward flow programs) and corporate debt transactions. You’ll own the day-to-day operations of these facilities - from funding and reporting to investor and lender management. You’ll also partner cross-functionally with Product, Risk, and Finance to develop deep knowledge of the operational and financial performance of Chime’s products to ensure strong execution of our capital markets transactions. This is a unique opportunity to help shape Chime’s capital markets platform as we expand into new financing structures and expand our suite of financial products.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $130,050 and up to $180,600. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Own operations, reporting, and funding for capital markets transactions.
  • Assist in marketing, structuring, analytics, and diligence for new financings and managing our relationships with investors, lenders, legal counsel, and rating agencies.
  • Build infrastructure to support transactions, including systems, reporting, treasury flows, and forecasting models.
  • Partner with FP&A to forecast Chime’s capital structure and liquidity to support long-term strategy.
  • Support additional capital markets needs such as corporate financing, M&A financing, and return of capital programs.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in structured finance within investment banking or a corporate capital markets role.
  • Demonstrated expertise with consumer lending products, structured finance transactions, and the Fintech space.
  • Proven ability to independently manage cross-functional partnerships and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint/Word (GSuite equivalents), with preference for experience using SQL, Snowflake, and Looker.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, computer science, or related field.

A little about us

At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress. We created Chime—a financial technology company, not a bank*—on the premise that core banking services should be helpful, easy, and free. We know that to achieve our mission, we must earn and keep people's trust—so we hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity in everything we do. These aren't just words on a wall—our values are embedded in every aspect of our business, serving as a north star that guides us as we work to help millions achieve their financial potential.

Because if we don't—who will?

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
