We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Architect to design, build, and manage cloud solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS architecture, infrastructure automation, and cloud strategy development, ensuring high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance our cloud compute capabilities, aligning them with Accurate’s overall business strategy.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within your organization.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud computing architectures, systems design and performance optimization. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of these platforms.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, program management and application support, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and deliver optimized solutions.
- Project Management: Manage complex projects, including major initiatives and product launches, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Industry Trends: Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing. Protect our intellectual property and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Management: Lead capacity planning, budget forecasting, and vendor/license management for cloud platforms. Establish clear KPIs, SLAs, and operational excellence metrics.
- Design and implement cloud architectures using AWS services, following the AWS Well Architected Framework.
- Oversee and implement AWS networking solutions, including ELBs, firewalls, and VPC configurations.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and delivery of cloud solutions.
- Develop reusable architectural patterns to streamline solution delivery.
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and design tailored AWS solutions.
- Implement Agile methodologies to improve development and deployment processes.
- Support both Linux and Windows environments in cloud-based infrastructures.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Cloud Engineering industry experience with 3+ years building and leading high-performing engineering teams with a focus on Cloud computing
- Extensive experience with building and supporting Kubernetes clusters and containers
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Expertise in software development lifecycle management, including development, staging, and production environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS storage management (EBS, S3) and cloud networking
- Hands-on experience with AWS security and IAM configurations
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues with AWS or third-party providers
- DevOps experience, supporting enterprise cloud projects and implementing automation
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills to translate business requirements into cloud solutions
- Ability to work with team members from around the globe/experience working with offshore models

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AWS cost optimization and performance tuning
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.) are a plus
- Familiarity with all aspects of software development from architecture to deployment and maintenance
- Understanding of cloud computing architectures, systems design and performance optimization
- Deep familiarity with modern web application technologies & frameworks
- Results orientation with a focus on delivery
- Track record as a leader of consistent product delivery, employee satisfaction, and retention
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
