The Manager, DevOps contributes to the development and implementation of a global hosting strategy aiming at improving business processes and global organization effectiveness and will provide leadership, strategy, financial management and responsibility over this key business unit. This role will focus on delivering excellence when it comes to system uptime, change management, cost effectiveness, disaster recovery, business continuity, security, and compliance of the company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability and availability of customer-facing hosted solutions, setting standards and ensuring the team maintains 99.9% uptime.
  • Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives across the team, leveraging automation and innovative tooling to reduce operating costs consistently.
  • Define and enforce scalability standards across cloud infrastructure, ensuring systems grow without compromising performance.
  • Lead compliance efforts across key security frameworks including ISO 27001, owning the team's adherence and audit readiness.
  • Establish and maintain cloud service quality standards, targeting a minimum 90% CSAT rating with a 10% response rate on all cloud service-related cases.
  • Partner closely with development and operations teams to align cloud strategy with product and business priorities.
  • Mentor and develop engineers on the cloud team, building technical depth and operational discipline across the function.
Skills
  • 5-6 years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong Azure focus; AWS experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Azure-native services including AKS, Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps.
  • Python proficiency preferred.
  • Developer background preferred - comfortable reading and writing application code.
  • Kubernetes experience required, ideally on AKS; EKS experience considered.
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or equivalent; Azure-specific IaC experience preferred.
  • Prior people management or team lead experience preferred.
