COMPENSATION: The base salary range for this job is $75,000-85,000 annually plus the possibility of additional performance based incentives.
The base salary will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Manager of Club Sales and Circuits l will serve as BSN SPORTS’ foremost leader regarding club sales for the Club/Select sales pros and serve as the point of contact for the 3SSB basketball circuit. This role will lead a sales team of Club/Select Sales Pros targeting National Accounts and will assist cross-functional company strategy on serving medium, large and enterprise club organizations. They will be responsible for team and company sales targets and P/L. The ability to lead a team, manage a business unit, problem solve, make smart decisions, and manage expectations of very important organizations on behalf of BSN SPORTS is crucial. This role will report directly to the Director of National Accounts – Club/Select.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Leading and motivating a growing sales team to grow sales activity, retain current club customer accounts and improve customer service with clients.
- Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets in club sports with an emphasis on club basketball.
- Cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
- Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
- Collaborating with Marketing to build and target potential new basketball and other club customers and circuits.
- Working with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
- Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
- Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products for circuit business.
- Establishing a sales training program to train new employees.
- Meeting with sales managers to assess company performance, inspect sales and pipeline activity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Possess excellent organizational, communication, forecasting and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of basketball sales and marketing best-practices.
- Strong comprehension of Customer Segmentation and club sport with an emphasis on the basketball circuit business.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 3+ years of related sales and/or sales management experience.
- Must have experience with CRM, SAP, QOE tools and systems.
