We are now looking for a Compiler Engineering Manager. NVIDIA’s HPC Compiler team is looking to hire Compiler Engineering Manager to join the team building one of the world's most important optimizing compiler products. Your work will support development and testing of compilers for high-performance computing and help drive future implementations of C, C++, Fortran, OpenMP and OpenACC. Being a compiler engineering manager requires both traditional software management skills and a dedication to the success of our end users. What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with senior management for team vision and development.

  • Leading and managing a team of experience compiler engineers working on compiler technology for C, C++, Fortran, OpenMP, and OpenACC, optimizers, and LLVM code generation.

  • Establishing team objectives to meet schedules and goals.

  • Grooming, mentoring and guiding early in career engineers to grow our next generation of leaders.

  • Establishing and evolve policies and procedures that affect the immediate organization.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, ECE or related industry experience (or equivalent experience); (Masters or PhD preferred)

  • 10+ overall years of Software engineering experience with 4 years of hands-on management/ team lead experience

  • Strong software design fundamentals and a deep understanding of compilers and programming languages

  • Knowledge of software engineering principles

  • Excellent communication skills to interface across organization at all levels

  • Experience leadership skills to mentor

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Contributing to LLVM or other open source projects

  • Familiarity with Fortran, C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards

  • Knowledge of compiler internals from front end to run-time environment

The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 356,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
