* Job Summary
* The Manager, Practice Solutions - Microsoft oversees a team of Solution Executives responsible for driving Microsoft business growth across CDW. This role focuses on enabling account managers, partners, and customers to adopt Microsoft solutions, accelerating cloud transformation, and delivering value through strategic programs and offerings.
What you will do:
* Team Leadership:
* Manage a team of Solution Executives, including performance management, coaching, and professional development.
* Microsoft Strategy Execution:
* Drive adoption and growth of Microsoft solutions across CDW's customer base, ensuring alignment with CDW's strategic goals and Microsoft priorities.
* Vendor Collaboration:
* Partner with Microsoft and other ecosystem vendors to develop joint go-to-market strategies, marketing initiatives, and revenue growth plans.
* Resource Optimization:
* Allocate resources effectively to achieve short-term objectives while building long-term strategic plans for Microsoft practice success.
* Mentorship & Enablement:
* Motivate, train, and develop team members to deepen Microsoft expertise and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
* Profitability & Value:
* Increase high-margin Microsoft business while delivering measurable value to CDW customers.
* Process Improvement:
* Identify opportunities to enhance sales motions, operational processes, and solution strategies for Microsoft offerings.
* Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft stakeholders, internal teams, and customers to uncover new opportunities.
* Escalation Point:
* Serve as the primary escalation contact for Microsoft-related opportunities and resolve customer or partner satisfaction issues.
* Planning & Reporting:
* Contribute to quarterly and annual business plans; manage reporting processes and leverage metrics to optimize performance.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Work with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to create internal and external collateral that drives awareness and accelerates Microsoft solution adoption.
* Talent Development:
* Hire, onboard, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of growth and innovation within the Microsoft practice.
What we expect of you:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* 3+ years' experience managing teams
* 3+ years' experience in Microsoft solution sales or related technology practice
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of creative problem-solving
* Demonstrated success in managing budgets and achieving profitability targets
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and Microsoft executives
* Willingness to travel up to 20% or as needed
* Experience developing and executing Microsoft-focused strategies and programs
* Familiarity with Microsoft licensing, cloud solutions, and partner programs
