In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the oversight of contract performance, champion validated cost control systems, and ensure projects exceed expectations while maintaining financial integrity. Key Responsibilities:
Champion the implementation of cutting-edge cost schedule control systems that revolutionize contract management
Transform complex data into powerful, actionable reports that showcase cost and schedule performance
Orchestrate the development of budgets and schedules that set the foundation for program success
Deliver financial analyses including funding profiles, revenue and cash forecasts, and variance analyses
Masterfully integrate contractual changes into control systems with precision and foresight
Proactively monitor contract performance to maintain optimal cost and schedule baselines
Inspire and develop a high-performing team of program cost and control professionals
Foster powerful relationships with program managers, finance teams, and customer representatives
Management Responsibilities:
Take ownership of challenging assignments with the autonomy to drive exceptional results
Recommend bold, strategic modifications to operating policies that drive efficiency
Achieve breakthrough results by leveraging the talents of your team members, encouraging creativity and independence
Serve as a trusted advisor providing expert guidance
Step in with decisive action when needed to overcome obstacles and ensure project success
Deliver the powerful combination of on-time completion and budget adherence
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR
Master's degree in related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR
PhD in related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
Proven track record in government contracting requirements and cost control guidelines
Outstanding analytical abilities and creative problem-solving skills
Powerful communication style and inspirational leadership approach
Advanced command of Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, CPA, or other prestigious professional certifications
Successful experience with defense or government contracting
Expert knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations
Proven success in previous supervisory roles
Compensation:
Pay Range:
$132,707.00 - $182,471.75Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
