Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML initiatives focused on enhancing RAN performance, including use case definition, solution design, modeling, and deployment in live networks.
  • Develop frameworks that enable automated network decision-making, including dynamic resource allocation, anomaly detection, and predictive planning.
  • Translate high-level business and technical requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps with clear success metrics and deliverables
  • Ensure operational readiness for AI solutions, including testing, validation, monitoring, and maintenance procedures that support large-scale deployment.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies in AI/ML, network virtualization, and RAN architectures, and provide strategic input to guide innovation.
  • Act as a thought leader and mentor within the organization, helping elevate AI literacy and engineering rigor across teams.
  • Foster partnerships to drive innovation and automation in network design, deployment, and optimization
  • Enable data analytics and AI/ML models for the network monitoring, operations and assurance
  • Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and leveraging AI automated workflows.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline (computer science or electrical engineering degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience working within the wireless industry

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Wireless network architecture technologies, concepts, and industry standards
  • Proven track record in assessing and deploying AI technologies across RAN systems.
  • Experience deploying and managing SON platforms.
  • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of AI-RANI, RIC architectures and rApp development.
  • Experience in RF Design or Optimization in a multi-technology network environment
  • Skilled in RF optimization, network automation, and optimization processes and tools
  • Experience with Cloud Deployments.
  • Knowhow in RAN Performance Metrics
  • Experience coding in Python
  • Familiarity with AI/ML models and data science projects

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person on-site interview.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
