Since 2024, we have worked with major corporations to invest over $7 billion in clean energy projects, including some of the industry's largest tax credit transactions. We are a fast-growing and profitable mission-driven company, fueled by an expert 25+ person team that knows how to get things done.

Our founders, Billy Lee and Andy Moon, are second-time entrepreneurs and were early pioneers in solar tax equity and project finance. Our team is filled with experienced leaders from SunEdison, SolarCity, Tesla, GoodLeap, and other leading clean energy companies. We’re proud of maintaining a strong mission-driven company culture that values creativity, collaboration, and speed … while still having fun.

We look for curious, smart, and kind colleagues with an entrepreneurial streak (we have quite a few ex-entrepreneurs on our team). Reunion is a great place to learn from energy finance experts and play a critical role in deploying clean energy technologies such as battery storage, nuclear, manufacturing, solar, and wind.

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial individual to serve as a leader on our Transactions and Finance team. You will drive the transaction process with corporate tax buyers and clean energy project developers / manufacturers, and will have the opportunity to take an active role in other important aspects of our business including developing new financial and software products to support our clients.

If you're passionate about accelerating investment into climate solutions and enjoy solving complex problems, we'd love for you to join us.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead transactions between Fortune 500 corporations and leading clean energy companies

    • Oversee critical negotiations between tax credit buyers, seller, and their counsel. Play a key role in moving transactions forward to successful closing

    • Lead Reunion team members in collecting, reviewing and synthesizing due diligence documentation

  • Manage relationships with key customers and partners

    • Own relationships with leading clean energy developers and manufacturers, ensuring that we are their “first call” when looking for tax credit and other financing

    • Participate in webinars, conference panels, and write technical content to help elevate Reunion position as a trusted expert in tax credits and project finance

  • Develop creative solutions to scale our work

    • Play a key role in developing Reunion’s industry-standard playbook for negotiating and diligencing tax credit transactions

    • Work closely with our software team to continue developing our compliance software products for PWA, FEOC, etc.

    • Collaborate with Reunion’s leadership team to think about the next offering we should provide to our clean energy clients

What You’ll Need

  • Transactional experience in clean energy finance or tax credits; our ideal candidate has experience working in a transactional role in tax equity, project finance, banking, or law for renewable energy infrastructure projects.

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with technology and other hacks to get a lot done with limited resources

  • Ability to read and interpret highly technical legalese; you must be comfortable learning and operating within the regulatory framework for clean energy finance and tax credit transfers

  • A minimum of 5-8+ years of deeply relevant experience working in a high-growth environment

  • NOTE: Reunion is an equal opportunity employer. You're encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't line up exactly with the job description.

Why Join Us?

  • Help scale one of the most exciting and impactful clean energy finance companies

  • Work directly with experienced founders and a top-tier team

  • Competitive compensation and early-stage equity

  • Benefits including full medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and partial coverage for dependents

  • Generous 401K match, travel to company offsites 2-3x per year to meet teammates in-person, flexible PTO plan

Location

  • Our transactions team is based in San Francisco, CA, though we will consider applicants located in major US cities
