Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead all vehicle receiving, storage, handling, and inventory operations to ensure accurate vehicle tracking, damage prevention, lot organization, and seamless movement throughout the facility.
  • Manage finished vehicle preparation and readiness by coordinating inspections, firmware updates, battery state-of-charge requirements, quality releases, and shipment readiness activities.
  • Oversee outbound shipping and transportation operations by coordinating customer requirements, carrier scheduling, transportation capacity, vehicle staging, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Provide leadership and development for vehicle operations teams through coaching, staffing, performance management, training, and implementation of standardized work and operational processes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and cross-functional teams to communicate vehicle status, resolve operational issues, support new launches, and ensure alignment between production and shipping requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through KPI management, Lean and 5S initiatives, process optimization, root cause analysis, and implementation of solutions that improve vehicle flow, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, vehicle logistics, transportation, or operations management.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Experience with finished vehicle logistics, shipping operations, transportation scheduling, and carrier management.
  • Strong customer-facing, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SAP, vehicle tracking systems, EV vehicle handling, and state-of-charge management preferred.
