Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC
Develop and refine business processes to facilitate efficient operations and collaborate with the company network to ensure flawless transitions of products and data. Enable system-level processes, while also performing within the Total Productive Management (TPM) framework. Focus on quality, waste reduction, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and cost-reduction. Manage the product and data quality in the Probe area including automation, disposition, travelers, offload management, shipping, recipe management, and change control processes. Setup and configure and configure Micron systems to enable the efficient introduction of products. Develop and approve new product flows and transfers. Set up disposition, attributes, and flows. Optimize flows to improve efficiency and quality. Collaborate with Operations teams in managing systems that prioritize Probe inventory, with minimal impediment, and ensuring lots are dispositioned appropriately. Understand customer and partner priorities. Communicate those priorities to the appropriate teams. Work with tactical planning teams to enable optimal product flow. Analyze inventories and collaboratively enable long-term management. Lead various projects and efforts, acting as the key contact responsible to ensure effective communication between various engineering and support teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including operations teams, suppliers, customers, and management to communicate priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on manufacturing objectives and deliverables. Manage and coordinate new product introduction (NPI) across teams and drive the planning to execution. May telecommute part-time.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Project Management or related field. Position requires:
1. Project management for engineering;
2. Applying manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies including root cause analysis, lean manufacturing concepts, and systematic problem-solving to reduce
defects and optimize production efficiency;
3. Implementing and supporting automation solutions to streamline manufacturing workflows and reduce manual intervention;
4. Performing data collection and data analysis to solve engineering problems;
5. Product life cycle administration.
