Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our Composite Manufacturing Center (CMC) team located in Puyallup, Washington.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to join our CMC team as a key component in advancing our automation initiatives. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of automation technologies and methodologies, playing a crucial role in enhancing our production processes and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data
- 1+ years of experience using Boeing Production System (BPS)
- 1+ years of experience in aircraft structures manufacturing process (preferably wings)
- 1+ years of experience with REDARS
- Commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free (IIF) principles applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
