Your Role:

The Market Access Analytics Director leads the planning and delivery of standard Market Access KPI reporting and ad-hoc analytics to identify/ quantify payer performance, opportunities, and threats.  This role will continue to enhance Market Access data assets through identification of new, value-added data sources as well as optimize utilization of existing data sources.  The Director manages the relationship with Market Access to provide insights to inform performance assessment and decision making.  The role will partner with the Market Access Contract Optimization /Advanced Analytics center of excellence as needed to meet the Market Access team’s needs.

Location Classification – Hybrid:

This role will be required to work onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday),or more depending on business needs. #LI-Hybrid

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Build the Market Access Analytics capability within the U.S. Rare Tumor business and lead the delivery of brand specific market access KPIs as standardized reporting to understand market trends and SpringWorks brand performance across channels and payers/plans
  • Design and maintain KPI dashboards for Market Access team and conduct ad hoc analysis to understand impact of tiering, copay levels, etc. and identify opportunities and risks across key payers
  • Understand competitor landscape and performance at the payer / plan level. Identify opportunities for brands to improve performance given competitive dynamics
  • Lead Market Access performance discussion as part of monthly business reviews
  • Assess SpringWorks’ current data assets and identify opportunities to enhance data sources specifically to inform Market Access insights
  • Partner with Market Access Contract Optimization / Advanced Analytics COE to develop GPO, Specialty Pharmacy, Health Plan and PBM contracting strategies across payer channels through advanced modelling techniques
  • Partner with Brand Analytics, Market Research, Data Strategy and Enablement, Forecasting, Commercial Operations, IT, Sales, and Market Access teams
  • Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management
  • Develop and maintain documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with varying levels of engagement, scope, and specifications.
  • Coach and mentor new talent / vendors
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Role Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • 9+ years’ experience in analytics, insights/market research, preferably all in Pharma or healthcare related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Market Access analytics
  • Oncology or rare disease experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Pharma data sources and suppliers
  • Expertise in MS Office
  • Familiarity with R, Python, SPSS or other programming language to analyze data as needed
  • Ability to write SQL code to extract data is desirable
  • Ability to work in matrixed team
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Confidence in presenting to senior management

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors effectively and clearly in a remote hybrid work environment.

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $167,000 – $220,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
