You will be the expert on our competitive landscape, providing valuable insights to guide product development, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. Things You’ll Do
- Competitive Research & Analysis: Track competitor messaging, product updates, pricing changes, and overall strategies. Create and maintain battlecards, competitive matrices, and other resources for sales enablement.
- Industry & Market Trends Analysis: Monitor industry reports, analyst insights, and emerging market trends. Identify potential threats and opportunities, providing recommendations to leadership.
- Win/Loss Analysis: Conduct interviews with sales teams to understand why we win or lose deals, synthesizing insights into strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Market Updates & Analysis: Provide regular market updates, quick turn alerts (e.g., acquisitions, new announcements), and deep analysis to key stakeholders, including product, sales, and marketing teams.
- Compete Materials: Develop and maintain competitive materials, including battlecards, comparison charts, and objection-handling guides.
- Competitive & Category Positioning: Articulate why we win versus competitors, defining our competitive positioning strategy and how we may need to evolve the category based on market trends.
- Influence Product Roadmap: Share market, customer, and competitive product research insights to help product teams prioritize and shape the roadmap, including key focus areas to unlock commercial revenue.
- Support Pricing Decisions: Offer market context and competitive data to support pricing decisions.
What We’re Looking for on Your Resume
- 4+ years of proven experience in market and competitive intelligence, product marketing, market research, business analysis, consumer insights, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various teams, including product, sales, and marketing.
- Understanding of product marketing principles and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience with data analysis tools and market research methodologies.
- Project management experience, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage work across functions and stakeholders.

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.
