Job Summary:

The Market Intelligence Analyst III supports all business units directly in market analysis need for business development of new products/markets as well as competitive intelligence.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet with functional areas to ascertain requirements for each project
  • Perform research and build presentation of findings in a format digestible by executive management
  • Conduct various surveys as needed and provide analysis of the results
  • Research new products and/or markets and provide analysis to senior leadership
  • Ad-hoc research, reporting, and analysis requests
  • Support Sales and market research needs 
  • Collect and analyze competitive information for all products/markets
  • Work with the management to identify and execute market research that helps focus Sales and advertising efforts
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly LOB reporting – varies by product and need
  • Manage the creation and distribution of the CareSource Market Insights Report
  • Assist with the reporting and analysis on the results of various marketing activities
  • Develop, report, and provide analysis on various membership and market surveys 
  • Develop and manage the procurement, reporting, and analysis of competitors rates and benefits files
  • Develop standardized tools, methodologies and business processes aimed at improving research, reporting, and analysis efficiency
  • Develop and manage monthly reports on membership and market share
  • Perform any other job related instructions as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related business field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of involved market research analysis experience is required
  • Business experience in a matrix organization is preferred
  • Experience with insurance rates and benefits files  preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experiencing using market research & competitive intelligence software and BI Software
  • Ability to analyze, discover root cause analysis and create reporting of results
  • Ability to present data in a visual way to facilitate a fast understanding
  • Ability to communicate results in a meaningful way that tells the complete story

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • May require travel up to 10% to perform work duties

Compensation Range:

$70,800.00 - $113,200.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
