The Marketing Automation Manager will join the Customer Experience Team to strategize, build, and optimize automation campaigns in partnership with cross-functional teams. These automations will be focused on engaging the students we serve through rich, relevant content that creates a rewarding and exceptional experience across the student journey from inquiry to graduation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and align student segments as omni-channel assets are developed, built, and released for integration in automations
  • Identify both front-end and back-end opportunities to enhance the automation development and performance
  • Plan, build, test, QA and publish goal-driven automations utilizing engagement and behavioral data in Salesforce CRM to triggered omni-channel campaigns (email, SMS, voice, etc.) relevant to prospective, new, existing, and lapsed students
  • Utilize solid testing methodology (A/B and/or multivariate test(s)) to identify opportunities to improve the engagement and conversation rates of automation campaigns
  • Evaluate automation campaign performance results to provide execution guidance, best practices, and actionable recommendations for future automations (design, execution, and measurement)
  • Partner with the Operations team to build and publish automation campaign performance dashboards for regular marketing senior management consumption
  • Consistently track, monitor, and troubleshoot automation performance up-time and effectiveness to identify and collaborate on opportunities to optimize performance
  • Maintain SMS and Automation Best Practices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws
  • Coordinate with Business Technology team on Salesforce automation releases
Job Requirements
  • BS in Marketing or Business Administration or Analytics
  • 5+ years of campaign management experience across both online and offline marketing channels in creating segmented multi-channel customer communication strategies
  • 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce automation (Flows) administration and troubleshooting. Proven ability to develop, document and follow through on a comprehensive automation testing strategy.
  • 2+ years’ Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey automation experience (Email Journey builds, API/Direct Connect, data extension configuration, segmentation, Einstein, reporting)
  • Proven automation audience segmentation and A/B and/or multivariate testing experience
  • Experience in defining customer need states and articulating into unique target customer segments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, programs, and priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Automation experience querying, extracting, and analyzing large data sets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter, self-motivated and a team player
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
