We are looking for a highly organized, resourceful, and proactive Marketing & Content Coordinator who can take ownership of a wide variety of marketing initiatives from idea through completion.
This is not simply a social media posting role. The person in this position will coordinate podcasts, write scripts and marketing copy, communicate directly with our internal team and business partners, manage video production workflows, perform quality control, research new marketing opportunities, and ensure projects continue moving forward without constant follow-up.
The ideal candidate is an excellent English communicator and writer who is comfortable picking up the phone, managing multiple projects at once, and figuring out how to turn an idea into an organized process.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast Coordination & Production
  • Identify and research potential podcast guests.
  • Coordinate with internal Partnership Executives to gather additional information about potential guests.
  • Contact business partners directly to coordinate and confirm podcast recording times.
  • Manage podcast scheduling and follow-up.
  • Coordinate thank-you gifts following podcast appearances.
  • Obtain and review podcast transcripts.
  • Write engaging podcast introductions and supporting copy.
  • Submit podcast videos to the video editing team.
  • Review edited videos and provide clear revision feedback.
  • Coordinate final approval and publishing of podcast content.
  • Identify strong short-form clips from previous podcasts and videos, particularly positive partner testimonials.
  • Write descriptions and captions for published videos.
Content & Script Writing
  • Identify a business partner to highlight each week.
  • Interview or communicate with internal team members to gather background information for partner highlights.
  • Write weekly Partner Highlight video scripts.
  • Write Business Fundamentals Wednesday scripts.
  • Write Product Highlight scripts.
  • Develop additional short-form marketing scripts as needed.
  • Write clear, engaging marketing copy that sounds natural to a U.S. audience.
Video Production Coordination
  • Organize and submit video scripts for filming.
  • Communicate with individuals responsible for filming to confirm what needs to be recorded.
  • Submit completed recordings to video editors.
  • Coordinate revisions with the editing team.
  • Review completed videos for accuracy, grammar, spelling, captions, and overall quality.
  • Ensure approved content is published according to schedule.
Social Media Management
  • Coordinate and publish content across company social media platforms.
  • Maintain a consistent daily posting schedule.
  • Write video descriptions, captions, and supporting social copy.
  • Repurpose existing long-form content into short-form content.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse successful previous content.
  • Ensure content maintains consistent messaging, grammar, and brand standards.
Email Marketing & Newsletters
  • Develop monthly newsletter topics for our business partners.
  • Write newsletter and email content.
  • Work with the email marketing team to develop and finalize email templates.
  • Develop partner communication and connection emails.
  • Write recap and follow-up emails following partner communications.
  • Assist with developing email campaigns for new company products and platforms, including our Home Wealth platform.
  • Review emails for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and consistency before distribution.
Marketing Projects & Product Development
  • Research new products, resources, and marketing opportunities that could provide value to our business partners.
  • Help develop concepts for new marketing products.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to turn concepts into finished marketing materials.
  • Work with internal leadership and development teams to document how new products should be delivered or automated.
  • Help design workflows and processes for introducing new products and services to business partners.
  • Document repeatable processes so projects can be efficiently handed off or automated.
Partner Communications
  • Communicate directly with business partners and internal Partnership Executives by phone and email.
  • Gather information needed to complete marketing projects.
  • Coordinate Partner Connection communications and video content.
  • Prepare Partner Connection recap emails and follow-up communications.
  • Professionally represent Fusion Growth Partners during external communications.
Quality Control
  • Perform secondary quality-control reviews of marketing materials and listing-related posts.
  • Review spelling, grammar, formatting, captions, names, dates, links, and other details before publication.
  • Identify errors and coordinate corrections before content goes live.

What Success Looks Like
Success in this position means projects do not sit waiting for someone to follow up.
You will know what content needs to be created, who you need information from, what stage each project is in, and what needs to happen next. You will proactively communicate with the appropriate people, follow projects through completion, review the final product for accuracy, and make sure approved content gets published.
We are looking for someone who can become a dependable owner of the marketing execution process, rather than someone who simply waits for individual tasks to be assigned.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
