Role Overview:

K1x is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and execution-focused Marketing Manager, Events & Integrated Campaigns to drive integrated marketing programs that combine events, content, demand generation, and thought leadership to support pipeline growth and brand awareness.

This role owns the full lifecycle of integrated campaigns, with events serving as a primary—but not exclusive—activation channel. Responsibilities span campaign strategy, messaging, and execution across in-person and virtual events, digital programs, content, and field marketing initiatives. This role partners closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and Leadership to translate product moments and industry themes into cohesive, multi-channel campaigns that drive measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and operator: someone who can architect campaigns end to end, execute high-quality events, create and manage content, and connect marketing activity to pipeline and brand outcomes.

This is a remote position with occasional travel for industry conferences, field events, and internal events including the K1x User Conference.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrated Campaign Strategy & Execution (≈50%)

  • Own the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that combine events, digital programs, content, and thought leadership.
  • Develop campaign themes and messaging in partnership with Product Marketing that align to ICPs, personas, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Translate product launches, feature releases, partnerships, and industry moments into coordinated, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Plan and execute pre-event, during-event, and post-event campaign motions, including email, landing pages, social, and sales enablement.
  • Partner with Sales to align campaigns to target accounts, priority segments, and pipeline goals.
  • Ensure campaigns are measurable, with clear success metrics tied to engagement, pipeline contribution, and brand impact.

Event Strategy & Field Marketing (≈50%)

  • Develop and manage the annual event and field marketing strategy across trade shows, virtual events, and high-touch field activations.
  • Evaluate, select, and recommend industry events, conferences, and sponsorship opportunities based on strategic fit and ROI.
  • Plan and execute field events such as lunch & learns, prospect dinners, executive roundtables, regional meetups, and user gatherings.
  • Secure sponsorships, negotiate packages, and obtain speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, experiential activations, and hands-on event formats that support campaign goals.
  • Build and manage event budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and optimization.

Event Execution & Logistics

  • Own logistics for in-person, virtual, and field events, including registration platforms, vendors, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Oversee booth design, production, shipping, on-site setup, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage booth staffing logistics and training to ensure strong sales and product representation.
  • Plan and execute swag programs, experiential elements, and booth traffic drivers.
  • Manage lead capture and ensure clean handoff into CRM and sales follow-up workflows.
  • Coordinate travel, housing, and on-site logistics for K1x employees attending events.
  • Support planning and execution of internal events, including the K1x User Conference.

Content, Thought Leadership & Brand Amplification

  • Create and manage campaign and event-driven content, including blog posts, recap content, presentations, and customer stories.
  • Support executive and product thought leadership tied to speaking engagements, industry trends, and campaign themes.
  • Partner with Brand and Content teams to develop written, visual, and short-form video content.
  • Coordinate social amplification for campaigns and events across LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all campaign and event assets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to align on goals, messaging, and priorities.
  • Partner with Brand and Content teams to execute cohesive campaign and event experiences.
  • Work with Sales leadership to prioritize accounts, regions, and field opportunities.
  • Coordinate with partners, including K1x Collective members, on joint campaigns, events, and co-marketing initiatives.

Marketing Operations, Reporting & Optimization (Light)

  • Track and report on campaign and event performance, including engagement, ROI, and pipeline contribution.
  • Produce post-campaign and post-event summaries with insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure timely lead routing and accurate CRM reporting.
  • Support light marketing operations needs related to campaigns, events, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable playbooks, templates, and processes.

Requirements
    • 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, field marketing, or event marketing roles in a high-growth startup environment—preferably in B2B SaaS or technology.
    • Proven success owning integrated campaigns that include events, content, and demand generation.
    • Strong project management skills with end-to-end ownership mindset.
    • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Product Marketing.
    • Demonstrated ability to create or manage content and thought leadership programs.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and vendor management skills.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
