Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can translate vision into execution and build the engine that fuels our growth. In this role, you will be crucial to getting Ampa’s name out into the world, amplifying our mission, and directly supporting sales by driving high-quality leads. This is not a strategy-focused role — it’s primarily about building and running the programs that put Ampa on the map and help fill the pipeline.

What You’ll Do:

  • Fuel Sales Growth
    • Design and execute lead generation campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and digital channels
    • Build nurturing programs that convert awareness into qualified opportunities
    • Partner with Sales to align campaigns to pipeline goals and measure results
  • Build Market Presence
    • Own Ampa’s social and digital presence, ensuring consistent, compelling storytelling
    • Draft and distribute press releases, announcements, and thought leadership content to increase visibility
    • Support media outreach and partner communications that elevate our credibility in the market
  • Event & Conference Activation
    • Plan and execute Ampa’s presence at key conferences, trade shows, and speaking engagements
    • Manage pre- and post-event campaigns to ensure meaningful ROI in leads and awareness
  • Creative Execution
    • Develop marketing assets (social graphics, one-pagers, ads, presentations) with strong brand alignment
    • Ensure our message cuts through with clarity and urgency across all touchpoints

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of marketing experience, ideally in high-growth B2B or healthtech startups
  • Proven success in B2B demand generation and campaign execution that supports Sales
  • Proficient in CRM, marketing automation, and digital ad platforms (HubSpot experience a must, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Excellent writer with the ability to quickly produce press releases, social posts, and marketing copy
  • Comfortable moving fast, prioritizing ruthlessly, and executing with precision in a startup environment
  • Bonus: experience in healthtech, neurotech, or other mission-driven industries

Why Join Ampa?

  • You’ll build the marketing engine from the ground up at one of the most promising neurotech startups
  • Your work will directly accelerate sales and awareness — moving us closer to eradicating depression at scale
  • You’ll join a small, high-performing team where execution is valued, and impact is immediate
  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits

Logistics:

  • Work Mode: Remote
  • Locations: United States, Pacific Timezone Preferred
  • Compensation:  $115-130K, plus strong equity
  • Employment: Permanent

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
