With Justrite Safety Group, safety isn't just a priority—it's our passion.

The Contribution You’ll bring to this Role:

Justrite Safety Group is seeking a high-impact Strategic Marketing Manager to lead the growth strategy for one of our Business Units operating in a fast-growing and opportunity-rich market. This role defines where to play and how to win, translating market insight into clear segment priorities, value propositions, and roadmap decisions that drive revenue and margin growth.

This role is not simply about marketing execution — it is about owning the marketing growth engine for the business unit. The Strategic Marketing Manager will architect and drive the integrated marketing strategy that fuels pipeline, accelerates revenue, sharpens competitive positioning, and strengthens market leadership.

Reporting directly into the Business Unit, this role partners closely with the Business Unit Leader, Product Management, and Sales Leadership to translate market opportunity into measurable business growth.

About the team:

Joining our Marketing team means stepping into a fast-paced, creative environment where innovation and strategy go hand in hand. Our marketing team is the driving force behind our brand’s voice and image, responsible for crafting compelling narratives, engaging with our audience, and driving demand across various channels. Here, you’ll collaborate with talented professionals who are passionate about staying ahead of industry trends and delivering impactful campaigns that resonate with our target markets. As a member of this team, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting projects that span digital marketing, content creation, brand management, and more.

What you will do at Justrite:

Business Unit Growth Strategy – Where to Grow, Strategic Fit, and How

    • Develop and own the comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to business unit revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
    • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and sizing to identify key adjacencies, white spaces, and other growth opportunities (“Where to Grow”)
    • Assess opportunities against current and potential future capabilities of Justrite and own BU (“Strategic Fit”)
    • Identify specific growth strategies (potential new products, product extensions, positioning, lead generation, etc) to grow into those opportunities (“How”)
    • Define differentiated product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions that create competitive advantage.
    • Establish measurable annual and quarterly marketing objectives tied directly to pipeline contribution and revenue impact.
    • Serve as the voice of the market within the business unit, influencing product roadmap, portfolio prioritization, and go-to-market strategy.

Brand Building, Demand Generation & Pipeline Acceleration

    • Architect integrated demand generation programs that drive qualified pipeline across strategic account segments.
    • Design and oversee multi-channel campaigns (digital, content, events, partnerships, channel programs) aligned to buyer journey stages.
    • Partner with Sales to align marketing programs with account priorities and pipeline targets.
    • Analyze funnel performance, conversion rates, and revenue attribution to continuously optimize performance.
    • Allocate budget across channels based on ROI and performance analytics.

Channel Marketing, Sales Enablement and Funnel Conversion

    • Develop and deploy DVP messaging effectively across social media, website content, outbound activity, in-person engagement, and distributor and end-user communications.
    • Partner with sales leadership to train field sales teams on DVPs, equipping them to communicate value more effectively and improve conversion in customer interactions.
    • Support sales teams through training, product collateral, and easy access to marketing and product resources for key customer meetings and sales opportunities.
    • Strengthen sales effectiveness by ensuring the field has practical tools, clear messaging, and responsive support to advance opportunities and improve win rates.

    Product Marketing & Go-to-Market Leadership

    • Leverage above growth strategy to drive:
    • Lead go-to-market strategy for new product launches and portfolio expansions.
    • Develop launch plans including positioning, messaging, enablement tools, and campaign strategies.
    • Conduct competitive intelligence and win/loss analysis to inform strategic decisions.
    • Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business value narratives.
    • Equip Sales with effective tools, content, and insights that increase win rates.

    Customer & Market Insight

    • Develop and implement voice-of-customer initiatives to uncover unmet needs and engagement opportunities.
    • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activity to inform strategic direction.
    • Leverage marketing analytics and CRM data to identify growth levers and performance gaps.

    Planning, Budgeting & Performance Management

    • Develop and manage annual marketing plans and budgets aligned to growth objectives.
    • Establish KPIs tied to pipeline creation, revenue contribution, customer acquisition cost, and brand impact.
    • Deliver clear, data-driven performance reporting to business unit leadership.
    • Continuously refine strategy based on performance data and market feedback.

    Competencies

    • Strategic thinking – Looks across markets, segments, and channels to define clear wheretoplay and howtowin choices that guide regional growth.
    • Ownership mindset – Takes full responsibility for regional growth, margin health, and portfolio quality, acting as a business owner rather than a functional manager.

    • Relationshipbuilding – Builds trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders, strengthening alignment across sales, product, finance, operations, and partners.
    • Influence and persuasion – Gains buyin in a matrix environment, aligning diverse perspectives behind shared priorities and execution plans.
    • Communication clarity – Translates complex strategies, value propositions, and product concepts into clear, compelling messages for teams and customers.
    • Analytical rigor – Uses data, KPIs, and business cases to prioritize investments, monitor performance, and coursecorrect quickly.
    • Detail orientation – Ensures roadmaps, launches, pricing actions, and campaigns are executed with precision, quality, and followthrough.
    • Change agility – Adjusts to change with confidence, adapting to new information, evaluating impact and driving new ways of working across regions and functions.
    • Determination – Stays focused on the growth agenda, pushing through setbacks and ambiguity to deliver results over the medium term.
    • Customercentricity – Anchors decisions in the needs of end users, distributors, and channel partners rather than internal assumptions.
    • Systems thinking – Understands how product, pricing, channels, marketing, and operations interact, and designs solutions that work across the whole system.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

    Key Facts About Seattle Tech

    • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
    • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
    • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
    • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
    • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
    • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
