Job Summary

SHI is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to oversee Marketing Department initiatives that support the organization’s evolving needs. As a key member of the Marketing PMO team, this role will manage a portfolio of high-impact projects, including marketing campaigns, product launches, and departmental workflow optimization. The Marketing Project Manager will work cross-functionally with Marketing, IT, and Marketing support teams to contribute to process improvement efforts, support the implementation of workflow enhancements, and enable cross-team adoption.
This position reports to the Marketing PMO Supervisor.

Role Description

  • Lead multiple projects of varying complexity, ensuring adherence to defined scope, quality standards, timelines, and deliverables. 

  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project and process documentation, including project plans, SOPs, workflow diagrams, and meeting minutes.

  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate project kickoff, status/stand-up, and closeout meetings, maintaining a professional and polished presence in all stakeholder interactions.

  • Track project progress and manage outstanding action items across multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely follow-up, accountability, and resolution. 

  • Provide regular project status updates throughout the full project lifecycle, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to protect timelines and objectives.

  • Build, maintain, and optimize workflows within Asana by partnering closely with Marketing teams to ensure smooth handoffs, consistent communication, and efficient end-to-end execution.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement, documentation, and standardization of processes within the Marketing Project Management Office (PMO).

Skill Level Requirements

  • The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently - Intermediate

  • Ability to oversee and direct projects to completion, ensuring goals are met, resources are utilized efficiently, and stakeholders are satisfied - Intermediate

  • Expertise in various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum, to effectively plan, execute, and close projects - Intermediate

  • Familiarity with the operational mechanisms, hierarchical setup, and the overall framework of SHI, enabling effective navigation and utilization of internal processes - Intermediate

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using project management platforms; Asana preferred. 

  • Strong end-to-end project management skills, including the ability to define scope, assign owners, manage tasks, escalate issues, and lead status/stand-up meetings.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and issue resolution skills, particularly as they relate to executing and supporting marketing initiatives and campaigns.

  • Understanding of project management principles as applied to marketing campaign management (preferred).

  • Proven ability to drive process improvement and develop clear, effective project and process documentation.

  • Ability to develop, implement, and refine project management processes in support of cross-functional projects. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at varying levels.

  • Experience supporting cross functional initiatives, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder alignment. 

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2+ years of experience as a project manager (or related experience)Experience supporting Marketing, Operations, or IT projects is a plus.  

  • Willingness to obtain PMP Certification within the first year in the role. 

  • Ability to travel 10%

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $80,000k - $110,000k, which includes a base and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
