Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer at Coffman Engineers, you’ll be part of a collaborative, creative, and high-performing team that believes in making a difference for our clients and our communities. Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with at least four years of experience to join our group as a long-term member of our highly-respected team.  Our clients hire us for some of their most exciting and challenging projects in the healthcare, laboratory, industrial, education, space, and energy markets. The role involves working across varied project delivery approaches, managing projects through design and execution, and focusing on sustainable engineering solutions. We work in tight-knit teams that support and mentor each other and are managed with a healthy work-life balance.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (preferred)
  • Familiarity with relevant codes: building, mechanical, energy, plumbing
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience with MS Office programs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • ASHRAE Certifications and active industry involvement (preferred)
  • LEED, WELL, PMP, CEM, CDP, and DBIA Certifications are a plus
  • Energy modeling experience is a plus
  • Business Development experience (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance 

Expected annual salary of $90,000 - $125,000.
