Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Merchandising Analytics Manager at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to leverage large data sets to surface actionable insights that support Merchandising in making data driven decisions.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead analyses on assortment strategy and incrementality promotional effectiveness to evaluate financial performance, product assortment, site placement, and customer experience measures.
  • Develop a centralized repository of insights on different types of assortment and promotions running on those assortments and deliver recommendations to business partners for maximizing specific business outcomes.
  • Manage cross-functional analytics initiatives that require development of new data tables and fields, data products, and tools for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with business intelligence team to prioritize and QA development of new data sources.
  • Independently identify opportunities for application of advanced analytical solutions and models, ultimately deploying these solutions independently or with support from Business Analysts.
  • Support Merchandising leadership in understanding and influencing business inputs to drive favorable outputs across customer experience and financial metrics.
  • Gather business partner inputs to inform new data products and enhance existing reports.
  • Mentor entry level business analysts.
  • 25% domestic travel required.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Information Management, or related field and 5 years of experience required.
  • Will also accept Master’s and 3 years of experience.
  • Experience must include 3 years in: SQL, Excel, and statistical analyses using R, SAS, etc;
  • Advanced data visualization skills using software such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.;
  • Financial KPIs and P&L statement with proficiency in executing break-even analyses, NPV, and ROI analyses;
  • Executing complex data analyses;
  • Manage cross-functional projects;
  • Ecommerce pricing and promotion KPIs; and
  • Creating mechanisms to monitor data integrity.
  • Experience must also include: data warehousing and relational or columnar database structure.
  • 25% domestic travel required.
  • The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.


Compensation & Benefits:

Our salary range for a Merchandising Analytics Manager position is $120,148 to $176,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
