We're looking for a Microsoft Bing Expert who knows the Microsoft Advertising ecosystem inside and out and can turn search intent into consistent, qualified leads. You’ll own Bing/Microsoft Advertising campaigns end-to-end—from strategy and account structure to optimization, testing, tracking, and reporting. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing campaigns for US-based businesses, particularly home service companies, and knows how to scale performance while maintaining efficient CPL and ROAS.

  1. Plan, build, and manage full-funnel Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) campaigns from strategy through execution, including keyword research, campaign structure, ad copy, targeting, bidding, and budgets.

  2. Analyze CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPC, conversion rates, impression share, search terms, and quality metrics to identify inefficiencies and growth opportunities.

  3. Conduct ongoing keyword research and optimization, including search-term analysis, negative keyword management, match-type strategy, and competitor research.

  4. Create and optimize Responsive Search Ads (RSAs) and other Microsoft Advertising formats to improve click-through and conversion performance.

  5. Manage audience targeting, remarketing, in-market audiences, customer lists, and other Microsoft Advertising audience solutions.

  6. Design and execute structured A/B tests across ad copy, landing pages, keywords, audiences, bidding strategies, and campaign structures.

  7. Optimize campaigns for qualified lead volume, incorporating feedback from CRM and sales teams to improve lead quality—not just lead quantity.

  8. Manage and allocate significant advertising budgets efficiently, scaling high-performing campaigns while maintaining target CPL, CPA, and ROAS.

  9. Monitor account health, search trends, disapprovals, policy issues, tracking accuracy, and other factors that may negatively impact campaign performance.

  10. Implement and troubleshoot Microsoft UET (Universal Event Tracking), conversion goals, remarketing tags, and conversion tracking in coordination with development and analytics teams.

  11. Work with landing page and creative teams to improve conversion rates and ensure ad messaging aligns with the user journey.

  12. Translate campaign performance into clear, actionable reports for clients and internal stakeholders, including insights, recommendations, and next-step strategies.

  13. Stay current with Microsoft Advertising platform updates, AI-powered features, audience solutions, bidding technologies, and search advertising best practices.

Requirements
  1. 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads campaigns, preferably within a digital marketing or performance agency.

  2. Proven track record managing lead generation campaigns for US-based businesses.

  3. Strong experience running Microsoft Advertising campaigns for US home service companies, including HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, pest control, remodeling, and similar industries.

  4. Experience managing campaigns across multiple accounts and verticals simultaneously in an agency environment is highly preferred.

  5. Demonstrated ability to manage substantial monthly ad budgets while consistently meeting CPL, CPA, or ROAS targets.

  6. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Advertising, Microsoft Advertising Editor, Microsoft Clarity, and Microsoft UET.

  7. Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, match types, negative keywords, search terms, quality metrics, impression share, and competitor analysis.

  8. Advanced experience with Responsive Search Ads, audience targeting, remarketing, in-market audiences, customer match, and Microsoft Audience Network.

  9. Strong understanding of automated bidding strategies and when to use Maximize Clicks, Maximize Conversions, Target CPA, Target ROAS, and other available bidding approaches.

  10. Experience with Microsoft Merchant Center and Shopping Campaigns is a plus.

  11. Experience with Microsoft Clarity and using behavioral data such as heatmaps and session recordings to improve landing page performance is a plus.

  12. Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, CRM platforms, and landing page CRO best practices.

  13. Experience integrating Microsoft Advertising leads and conversion data with CRM platforms such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or Salesforce.

  14. Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for campaign analysis, forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking.

  15. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  16. Microsoft Advertising certification is strongly preferred.

  17. Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other paid media platforms is an advantage.

REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION

  1. An updated resume highlighting your Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads experience.

  2. A brief summary of your experience managing Microsoft Advertising campaigns for US-based businesses, particularly US home service companies.

  3. Include examples of 2–5 Microsoft Advertising campaigns or accounts you have personally managed, including the industry, campaign objective, approximate budget range, and measurable results such as CPL, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, or lead volume.

  4. If available, provide shareable screenshots or reports demonstrating campaign performance. Please remove confidential client information and ensure you have permission to share any materials submitted.

  5. Briefly describe your experience with Microsoft UET, conversion tracking, Microsoft Clarity, audience targeting, and automated bidding.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
