We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking SaaS Administrator to steward and elevate our enterprise SaaS ecosystem. This role will oversee and optimize a broad portfolio of critical platforms—including productivity suites, collaboration tools, and enterprise client technologies—ensuring they are secure, reliable, integrated, and delivering measurable business value.

This role will act as a cross-platform expert and ecosystem orchestrator, partnering with business and IT stakeholders to establish best practices, drive automation, improve governance, and champion the adoption of next-generation AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with deep proficiency in platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Slack who thrives on eliminating manual inefficiencies, building actionable reporting frameworks, and turning our SaaS stack into a well-governed, high-performance environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Ownership & Optimization
  • Serve as the enterprise owner for our core SaaS and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google, Slack, Zoom, etc.), ensuring they are secure, reliable, and configured to maximize business value.
  • Continuously evaluate platform features, AI capabilities, and vendor roadmaps, recommending adoption strategies that enhance productivity, reduce friction, and position us as a model customer for our vendors.
  • Partner with vendors and represent the company as a leading practitioner, showcasing best-in-class SaaS utilization.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions that enhance the employee experience.
Automation & AI Enablement
  • Identify and automate repetitive administrative tasks such as provisioning, license assignments, reporting, and monitoring – reducing manual effort and error.
  • Integrate AI-driven capabilities into administration, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring platforms evolve alongside emerging technologies.
  • Drive an automation-first culture by delivering self-service capabilities, workflows, and integrations that allow the business to scale.
  • Champion the exploration and responsible adoption of AI features across platforms, ensuring they are leveraged to their fullest potential.
Governance, Reporting & Value Realization
  • Establish governance frameworks to prevent configuration drift, enforce polices, and ensure compliance across all SaaS platforms.
  • Design and deliver dynamic dashboards that measure adoption, usage, security, performance, and ROI of enterprise platforms.
  • Provide actionable insights to IT, Security, Finance, and business leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making on platform spend, adoption, and innovation.
  • Ensure every platform has clear success metrics, visibility into health, and alignment with company security and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience administering and optimizing enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage and secure SaaS environments at scale including identity governance, SSO, and conditional access policies.
  • Strong proficiency with automation tools, scripting and workflow orchestration to eliminate manual tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards, reporting frameworks, or analytics to track platform usage, performance, and ROI.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, secure technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to engage with technical teams, business leaders, and vendors with credibility.
  • Proven track record of driving adoption of new features/technologies, with a passion for leveraging AI and automation to improve efficiency.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in a fast-scaling SaaS or high-powered technology company
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered SaaS features (e.g., Slack AI, Zoom AI, Gemini, etc.) and a track record of evaluating or deploying them.
  • Familiarity with SaaS management and monitoring platforms.
  • Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks relevant to SaaS environments (e.g. ISO 270001, FedRAMP, SOC2)
  • Prior experience designing or contributing to user lifecycle management automation at scale.
  • Recognized as a thought leader or advanced practitioner (e.g., speaking at vendor conferences, publishing best practices, or leading internal communities).=
Soft Skills
  • Strategic curiosity - proactively explores new features, AI capabilities, and industry best practices to ensure platforms are always ahead of the curve.
  • Change leadership - skilled at driving adoption of new tools and processes, bringing stakeholders along on the journey rather than just ‘flipping a switch’.
  • Influence without authority - able to establish governance and best practices across platforms they don’t directly “own”, guiding other admins and stakeholders.
  • Storytelling with data - translates metrics and dashboards into compelling insights that resonate with executives and business leaders.
  • Vendor partnership mindset - builds strong relationships with SaaS vendors, advocating for the company’s needs and showcasing best practices externally.
  • Adaptability - thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment, balancing tactical execution with long-term strategy.
  • Empathy of end users - designs solutions with the employee’s experience in mind, ensuring technology empowers rather than frustrates.
