Job Description

MSX International is seeking a Microsoft PowerApps Developer / Analyst to design, develop, support, and enhance low-code solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role combines business analysis, solution design, and hands-on development. The ideal candidate will work closely with project leadership to translate business requirements into scalable PowerApps solutions while supporting and enhancing existing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct information intake and discovery meetings with project leadership and stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Analyze business processes and translate requirements into functional and technical PowerApps designs.
  • Conceptualize, design, and develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Integrate applications with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Microsoft 365 data sources.
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Support, maintain, and troubleshoot existing PowerApps solutions currently in production.
  • Enhance existing applications by implementing new features and optimizing performance and usability.
  • Apply best practices for data modeling, security, permissions, and environment management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Create and maintain technical and user documentation.

Qualifications

  1. Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Dataverse and data modeling.
  • Experience integrating PowerApps with SharePoint, SQL Server, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong understanding of Power Fx formulas, UI design, and app logic.
  1. Additional Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, or CSS is a plus.
  • Understanding of Power Platform security, governance, and role-based access control.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certification (such as Power Platform App Maker Associate) preferred.
