RAB Lighting, an established leader in the LED lighting industry, is seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining high-performance applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring exceptional user experiences and satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a key role in the vision and execution of innovative mobile solutions that support our commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and intelligent design.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to help develop the vision for new iOS and Android apps, providing creative and technical insight throughout the project.
  • Create and maintain technical design documentation for new features and applications.
  • Develop iOS and Android apps, building features, extensions, and more.
  • Take start-to-finish technical ownership of features and/or applications from inception to delivery.
  • Work from UI/UX requirements and mock-ups to build functional, high-performance mobile apps.
  • Test and debug applications to detect and resolve issues.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Mobile Application Development & Aptitude: Experienced in developing and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring high performance and user satisfaction.
  • Project Planning & Multitasking: Demonstrates strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • User Interface (UI) Design: Solid understanding of user interface principles with a proven record of delivering successful applications published on the App Store.
  • Custom UI & Performance Optimization: Extensive hands-on experience creating custom UI controls, designing protocols, implementing delegate interfaces, and optimizing application performance for smooth user experiences.
  • Backend Development: Proficient in backend integration and development, including connecting mobile applications with server-side logic and APIs.
  • Version Control & Collaboration: Highly skilled in using Git or similar version control systems to manage codebases efficiently and support collaborative development environments.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with iPhone/iPad application development
