OverviewAbout Us: We develop cutting-edge mobile telecommunication applications that protect users on the largest mobile networks worldwide. As an intern, you'll implement mobile applications and test tools for Android and iOS devices, working within a cross-discipline development team to support product integration and validation.ResponsibilitiesInternship Overview:
- Duration: Approximately 3 months
- Skills Required: Strong software development background, analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
What You'll Learn:
- Design and Implementation: Develop mobile device software for iOS, Android, and React Native.
- Quality Assurance: Create software components that meet company standards, implement unit tests, and conduct code reviews.
- Agile Environment: Participate in an agile team with representatives from design, product, QA, and project management.
- Communication: Proactively engage with team members and produce technical documentation.
- Mentorship: Work under the guidance of a senior developer who will act as your mentor.
- Additional Responsibilities: May be assigned as needed.
Preferred Qualifications That Will Put You Ahead:
- Education: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least two years of study completed.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic to intermediate development courses in JAVA or a related language.
- Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, networking basics, and scripting.
- Familiarity with web development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with mobile platforms (Android, iOS, React Native) is a plus.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding of scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
- For this role, we anticipate paying $18 - $22 per hour. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
