About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

At Slack, we’re making work life simpler, more pleasant, and more productive. We believe that how we move is just as important as how we look. We are looking for a Motion Designer and Video Editor who lives at the intersection of conceptual storytelling, and product UI. You’ll partner closely with Brand Creative, and Marketing teams to deliver innovative video experiences that inspire audiences and drive measurable impact. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing high-fidelity motion systems that explain complex product features, tell compelling brand stories, and push the boundaries of what’s possible using AI-assisted workflows.

What You’ll Do

  • Conceptual Storytelling: Lead the creative vision for motion projects from scratch. You’ll translate abstract product concepts into clear, engaging visual narratives.

  • Product UI Excellence: Masterfully animate Slack’s interface to demonstrate functionality while maintaining the playful yet professional soul of our brand.

  • Agile Execution: Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable with quick turns, iterative work and can maintain high quality even when deadlines are tight.

  • Strategic Output: Exercise strong creative judgment to know when a project requires high-fidelity polish and bespoke craftsmanship, and when it demands rapid execution and pragmatic delivery to meet business needs.

  • End-to-End Execution: Drive projects through the entire lifecycle—from storyboarding and style frames to final render and sound design.

  • Video Editing: Pivot between pure motion graphics and narrative video editing to create seamless, high-impact brand content across social and digital platforms.

  • AI-Driven Innovation: Actively integrate AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Veo3, ChatGPT, etc.) into your creative process to accelerate prototyping, generate assets, and explore new visual frontiers.

  • Independent & Collaborative Ownership: Work as a self-starter who can drive projects to completion with minimal oversight, while remaining a deeply integrated and communicative partner within the larger creative and marketing team. Give feedback and direction to external partners when needed.

What You Should Bring

  • The Experience: 5–7 years of professional experience in motion design, preferably within a tech-forward agency or an in-house SaaS creative team.

  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, C4D and Figma.

  • An "AI-First" Mindset: You don’t fear AI; you use it as a superpower. You are competent in prompting and utilizing generative tools to enhance your workflow and creative output.

  • Product Intuition: A deep understanding of UI/UX principles. You know how to make a software interface feel alive and intuitive through motion.

  • High-Velocity Delivery: A proven ability to work at speed. You thrive on "getting things done" and can navigate ambiguity without losing momentum.

  • Communication Skills: The ability to articulate the "why" behind your creative decisions to stakeholders who may not speak the language of keyframes.

  • Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a feedback-rich environment and believe that the best work happens when diverse perspectives collide.

  • Autonomy: You are a reliable executor who takes full ownership of your tasks, requiring little hand-holding while knowing exactly when to pulse in for feedback or collaboration.

  • Storytelling Instincts: A natural ability to tell a cohesive story through video, whether it's a 15-second social clip or a 2-minute product deep dive.

Why Slack?

At Slack, we're on a mission to make work life simpler, more pleasant, and more productive. Our Brand & Creative team plays a critical role in bringing that mission to life through world-class design and storytelling. Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
