Provide deep IBM MQ administration and technical escalation, resolve complex messaging issues, collaborate on MQ roadmaps and monitoring, lead automation (Ansible), participate in on-call rotation, and communicate solutions to engineers, management, and customers.

Requirements
- Advanced knowledge and skills of IBM MQ technology
- Accomplished technical MQ Expert in the depth of the knowledge, the level of skills, and the breadth of experience
- Able to serve as the technical escalation point for the team and to provide solutions to difficult and complex MQ problems
- Highly skilled communicator who can discuss problems with technical staff AND explain complicated technical problems to senior management and customer in a concise and crisp fashion
- Ability to work with engineering on technical directions such as MQ road maps or MQ monitoring.
- Ability to learn and lead in new technology, especially Ansible/automation
- Ability to work in a hands-on position that involves regular on-call rotation
- Maybe assigned one or more systems to be the primary or backup MQ resource
- 5 years of experience in MQ in a senior role
- Agile Experience - preferred
- Team focused: Must be a team player
- Red Hat AMQ Experience is a plus - but not required
