About Asahi Beer USA

Asahi Beer USA is a premium beverage business headquartered in the U.S., with a focus on building and expanding a portfolio of super premium brands including Asahi Super Dry and Twisted Shotz. As part of Asahi Europe & International, the global arm of Asahi Group Holdings, the U.S. team plays a strategic role in shaping the future of Asahi’s international portfolio through consumer-led innovation and agile market execution. With access to global brands, insights, and capabilities, and supported by Octopi Brewing— a leading production facility based in Wisconsin — Asahi Beer USA combines local agility with global scale to deliver high-quality, distinctive products to U.S. consumers and drive growth across the RTD and beer categories.

About the RoleWant to work with one of the fastest-growing premium beer brands in the US? Join us at Asahi Beer USA.

Asahi Beer USA is on a mission to become a leading supplier of premium total beverage brands in the U.S. — and we're well on our way. Asahi Super Dry, Twisted Shotz, and Zeitaku Shibori are winning at retail, and we're building the team to keep that momentum going. Backed by the global scale of Asahi Europe & International and the production power of Octopi Brewing in Wisconsin, we're a business that moves fast and plays to win.

We're adding a National Account Manager to our Sales team in the Pacific Northwest — a hunter who knows the off-premise retail landscape, has the distributor relationships to back it up, and gets fired up about putting brands on shelves where consumers can find them.

You'll own a defined call list of local, regional, and national accounts across Grocery, Mass, Convenience, and Drug — and you'll be the channel expert in your Division, driving placements, programming, and performance across our brand portfolio.

This isn't a maintenance role. We want someone who wants to win.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a defined account list across large and small format off-premise retail
  • Drive new placements and program sell-in across Grocery, Mass, Convenience, and Drug
  • Build and leverage strong buyer and distributor relationships to move the needle
  • Be the go-to channel expert within your Sales Division
  • Increase availability, visibility, and velocity of Asahi Super Dry, Twisted Shotz, and Zeitaku Shibori
  • Partner with Trade Marketing and Brand teams to bring programs to life in market

Travel

Field-based role. Some travel within the regional market area will be required, along with limited travel for company meetings.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 annually (salaried/exempt)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off & 9 paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  •  Bonus: Eligible to participate in the company's annual performance-based bonus program
  • And more

We are an equal opportunity employer. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Asahi Beer USA celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can show up as their authentic self.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • A track record of winning — new placements, strong sell-in, real results
  • Deep experience in National or Regional Account Management in beer, RTD, or beverage alcohol
  • Established buyer and distributor relationships in the California market
  • Fluency in off-premise retail — Grocery, Mass, Convenience, and Drug
  • High personal accountability and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, market-facing environment — not despite it

Skills & Experience That Set You Apart

  • Off-premise retail account management (large and small format)
  • Buyer and distributor relationship management
  • New distribution and placement execution
  • Program sell-in and promotional planning
  • U.S. three-tier distribution system knowledge
  • Beer and/or RTD category expertise
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
