Network Administrator
As a Network Administrator at DAS Health, you’ll play a key role in supporting and maintaining client network environments. Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for DAS Health’s and client networks.
- Triage and escalate network-related incidents to Network Engineering.
- Analyze network data and client reports to proactively identify and address issues.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk, Field Technicians, and Engineering teams to support client networks.
- Maintain WAN, LAN, and WLAN availability using monitoring and management tools.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors for issue resolution and service support.
- Travel occasionally to client sites for network deployments, conversions, or issue resolution.
- Participate in field engineering tasks for client implementations as needed.
- Document network configurations, processes, and changes accurately.
- Standardize and improve processes to enhance automation and reduce downtime.
- Complete assigned client projects efficiently and on time.
- Continuously pursue skill development in networking technologies.
- Manage relationships with network vendors and service providers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience in network administration
- 2+ years of IT experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or IT services environments
- Cisco CCNA or similar advanced networking certification preferred
- Experience or formal training in LAN, WAN, wireless, and IP Voice technologies and architecture
- Familiarity with network operating systems, management platforms, and application-layer protocols
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Demonstrated interest in staying current with networking technologies, infrastructure trends, and best practices
- Professional, confident, and proactive demeanor
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and execute assigned tasks with minimal supervision
