Job Description

Job Title: Network Consultant

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

• 3 + years’ Network Engineer experience in supporting production environment including customer facing or customer support roles.

• Having Azure domain experiences is a big asset.

• Soft Skills

o Leadership - handle technically challenging and politically sensitive customer situations

o Strong communications skills – Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

o The successful Support Engineer has the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve difficult customer issues; directly supports customers through telephone, email, and chat services as applicable

o Demonstrable troubleshooting skills

o Cross-team collaboration

• Networking Skills

o Experience with networking concepts including Load balancer, Routing, Switching, Security

o Experience and familiarity with networking tools (ping, tracert, wire shark, etc.)

o Understanding geo-redundancy, CDN and VPN technologies (site to site, point to site preferred, leased line)

o Experience and understanding of the OSI model and related concepts

• Time of operation: This track will be in 24X7 shift model. Should be flexible to cover during holidays and weekends to accommodate MS roster
