The Network Engineer II is responsible for the troubleshooting, remediation, and implementation of network solutions to meet our client’s technology and business needs. Our Managed Services team is the forefront of our services organization, and this role will be required to engage with a variety of Clients daily. This role will play a pivotal part in ensure Client success and the overall uptime and performance of critical infrastructure. 

Requirements
  • Research, resolve, and respond to internal and client issues within scope of the NOC team’s responsibilities in a timely manner, to provide best in class support for iT1’s Managed Service Clients. 
  • Monitor ticketing queue and respond to service requests or incidents. 
  • Troubleshoots problems as reported by users, system(s), electronic messaging services, and maintaining a secure systems environment. 
  • Maintains, monitors, and supports the network infrastructure environment and/or facilities. 
  • Coordinates and works on multiple cross-functional base work initiatives and projects. 
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex network related incidents. 
  • Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility. 
  • Installs, configures, and maintains approved hardware and software components. 
  • Provides support for connectivity or related network/communication issues for the user community. 
  • Defines technical requirements to meet customer business requirements.  
  • Present solutions to clients, in face to face and virtual meetings  
  • Implements solutions according to technical requirements  
  • Escalate issues to appropriate personnel as necessary  

Job Qualification Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Cisco networking leadership in large, multi-site enterprise  
  • 3+ years of Cisco network hardware configuration management (routers, switches, VPN/IPSec)  
  • 3+ years of managing enterprise deployment and support for secure wireless  
  • 3+ years of TCP/IP mastery, inclusive of LAN and secure WAN design and implementation  
  • Ability to assess existing architectures and situations and make recommendations  
  • Strong ability to cultivate relationships with clients to develop and share understanding of technology solutions  
  • Presentation and articulation of technical content aligning to audience  

Preferred Certifications:

  • CCNA (Required) 
  • CCNP Enterprise Datacenter (Optional) 

Job Location:

  • Remote
  • Schedule - Sunday- Thursday, 4 AM – 12:30 PM AZ

Physical Demands

  • Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day
  • Keyboarding for 8 hours per day
  • Near Vision (working with small objects or reading small print)
  • Speaking (communicating information to clients / coworkers)
  • Hearing Requirements (In person speech, telephone, other sounds)
