Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance manufacturing scheduling and automation systems that drive factory operations.
- Analyze operational and manufacturing data to identify opportunities and implement solutions that improve throughput, cycle time, and equipment utilization.
- Develop analytics, reports, dashboards, ETL pipelines, and performance metrics using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and cloud technologies.
- Apply Industrial Engineering principles, simulation, and statistical methods to optimize fab performance and support capacity planning.
- Investigate production and system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions to improve system reliability.
- Participate in OI on-call rotations supporting business-critical manufacturing systems that run 24/7.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for scheduling, queue-time management, and operational decision-making processes.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects while collaborating with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Planning, Automation, IT, and Global teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fundamental knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language such as C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar language.
- Ability to work with data, build technical solutions, and apply analytical methods to solve complex operational challenges.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a strong interest in continuous improvement, automation, and data-driven decision making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making techniques.
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to simulation, optimization techniques, or manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with automation concepts and software development practices.
- Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to help developed efficient workflow.
