The National Vice President Sales, Cloud & AI Solutions – Current Client & New Business (ITB/OTB) Growth is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance of the company’s enterprise and outside-the-base sales organization. This role drives both net-new revenue and expansion growth for Managed Cloud Services, Cloud Innovation & AI-enabled healthcare solutions.The role combines deep expertise in healthcare technology, product commercialization, and AI-driven solutions with a disciplined, data-driven approach to sales execution.
The National Sales VP will build and lead a high-performing sales engineering and sales overlay organization, strengthen go-to-market messaging and positioning, improve win rates, and deliver revenue and profitability objectives while advancing scalable managed cloud services, cloud innovations, and AI-enabled sales practices.
Revenue Leadership & Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-year sales strategy across cloud and AI-enabled solutions.
- Own net-new and existing client revenue growth, bookings, pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and quota attainment for cloud and AI-enabled solutions.
- Contribute to corporate strategy, annual planning, marketing campaigns, and long-range growth initiatives.
- Strengthen market position, improve win rates, and drive profitable growth for managed cloud services.
Product, Cloud & AI Solution Sales Enablement
- Standardize sales messaging, value articulation, and competitive positioning.
- Lead go-to-market sales and marketing execution for commercialization of new AI-powered healthcare solutions and cloud innovation.
- Translate cloud, AI, hosting, and platform capabilities into clear business value for executives, clinicians, and operational leaders.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Pre-Sales, and Product Marketing teams to refine go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, and execution.
- Influence product roadmaps using market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Promote organizational adoption of AI and cloud solutions through enablement, training, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Evaluate emerging AI, automation, cloud, and analytics technologies to enhance commercial effectiveness.
- Ensure alignment between sales commitments and delivery capabilities, implementation capacity, service quality, and client outcomes.
- Provide market insights to guide product innovation and commercial investments.
- Support enterprise initiatives related to growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
- Drive alignment across internal stakeholders to support scalable growth and a consistent client experience.
Commercial Execution
- Leverage AI-enabled sales technologies to improve lead prioritization, sales coaching, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline quality.
- Improve conversion rates and sales productivity through analytics, automation, and insights.
- Ensure operational rigor and scalability across all sales processes.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales overlay and engineering organization.
- Establish clear performance metrics, accountability standards, and coaching frameworks.
- Foster a consultative, solution-oriented sales culture focused on long-term customer success.
- Lead teams responsible for new customer acquisition and complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Promote adoption of tools, processes, and AI capabilities that enhance sales effectiveness.
Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
- 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in technology, SaaS, or healthcare IT environments.
- 3+ years of artificial intelligence and managed cloud services experience.
- Experience selling into hospitals, physician groups, health systems, or healthcare networks.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience leveraging sales technology, analytics, and data-driven sales practices.
- Experience commercializing AI, analytics, automation, or cloud-based technologies, preferred.
- Experience with AI-enabled sales tools and technologies, preferred.
- Existing relationships with healthcare executives and decision-makers, preferred.
- Miller Heiman or similar sales methodology training is a plus.
- Knowledge of: Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, interoperability, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare IT ecosystems.
- Skill in: Demonstrated success in new customer acquisition and revenue growth strategies.
- Ability to: Proven success leading enterprise and new business sales teams with consistent quota attainment and revenue growth.
