What You'll Do:

The Workplace & Office Coordinator serves as the primary on-site support for daily workplace operations at Global Mobility’s Southfield location. Reporting to the Facilities Manager – Americas, this role ensures the office environment operates smoothly, professionally, and in alignment with company standards.

This role acts as the first point of contact for employees and visitors and supports facilities operations and vendor coordination.

Core Responsibilities include:

Front Desk & Workplace Support

  • Serve as primary front desk contact for employees and visitors.
  • Manage visitor check-in procedures and access coordination.
  • Support conference room scheduling and office logistics.
  • Provide general workplace support and issue resolution.

Facilities & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with building management and service vendors.
  • Support maintenance requests and service tickets.
  • Monitor office supplies, equipment, and breakroom needs.
  • Escalate facilities issues to the Facilities Manager.

Safety & Security Support

  • Execute local safety and emergency procedures.
  • Support visitor management and badge processes.
  • Coordinate local drills as directed by Facilities or Security leadership.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist with invoice tracking and vendor documentation.
  • Support office events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain organized records of service activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5+ years of office coordination, workplace support, or administrative experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience in a corporate office environment preferred.
