Office Coordinator
Overview:
The Office Coordinator plays a key leadership role in supporting the operations of the Spokane County Democrats. This position ensures the smooth functioning of the office by coordinating volunteers, managing office logistics, improving efficiencies and fostering a welcoming and productive environment for all volunteers and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries.
Manage office supplies and inventory, work with Treasurer to reorder as needed.
Monitor and schedule office maintenance and repairs, when requested.
Volunteer Coordination
Work with the Volunteer Committee/Facilitator to recruit office volunteers.
Support and provide back up for volunteer office trainer.
Supervise and support the office scheduler, ensuring full coverage.
Support, and cover for, the daily Office Lead that supervises volunteers.
Provide ongoing support, resources, and recognition for volunteers.
Committee Collaboration
Work with committee chairs to receive work requests and timelines.
Ensure committees submit work requests in a timely manner for volunteer assignments.
Prioritize and assign office volunteer tasks based on needs and deadlines.
Fundraising and Event Support
Coordinate with the Events Committee to ensure volunteers are scheduled to assist with event preparation, material assembly, and other administrative needs.
Administrative Support
Assist leadership team with meeting preparation (copies, packets, room setup).
Office Environment
Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for volunteers and visitors.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with Office 365 (Outlook, OneDrive) and basic office equipment (printers, phones, etc.).
Previous experience coordinating volunteers, managing an office, or working in a political environment (preferred but not required).
