About M7 Health

M7 Health is the AI-powered workforce operations platform for healthcare, designed for the realities of clinical staffing and scheduling. We use AI to help organizations forecast demand, auto-balance schedules, and deploy the right person to fill every shift before resorting to premium labor spend. The result: health systems reduce overtime, cut contract labor costs, and give clinical leaders time back to focus on care. Built with the earned wisdom of nurses, M7 serves tens of thousands of healthcare professionals daily and activated over 100 net new hospitals across 29 states, last year alone.

M7 recently raised a $10M Series A, backed by Threshold and First Round Capital, and we're building the team to match our ambition.

About The Role

We're looking for a talented Operations Lead to join our team. You will lead the implementation experience at new M7 customer sites, including owning relationships with facility leaders, coordinating all activation activities, and ensuring M7 is successfully adopted.

You will be the go-to resource for nurse leaders as they onboard to M7's platform, responsible for maintaining high engagement and uncovering opportunities for product improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • "Go Live" Management:
    • Project manage the entire go live process, coordinating with customers and M7 team members to ensure each activity is planned, assigned responsibility, and executed successfully.
    • Understand the staffing workflow at the hospital, including unit-specific staffing operations, and ensure all units and personnel are correctly accounted for in the M7 platform.
    • Train unit-leadership and other key stakeholders on how to use the M7 platform.
  • Post-Launch Adoption:
    • Drive successful M7 adoption in the first month after go live, maintaining close relationships with facility leaders and nurse managers to ensure the platform is being used effectively.
    • Monitor platform engagement and proactively identify and address any barriers to adoption before they become bigger issues.
    • Act as the voice of the customer internally — synthesizing feedback from nurse leaders and surfacing patterns to the product team to directly shape platform improvements.
About You:
  • Project Management: You have a strong skillset in project management and can run activations from end-to-end, coordinating activities with hospital leadership, hundreds of staff members, and internal team members over multiple weeks. You independently plan and execute these projects while building strong, durable relationships with customers.
  • Live Problem-Solving: You thrive working with health system leadership to understand each nursing unit and co-develop optimal configuration in the M7 platform. You build mastery of the M7 product and are able to identify and build consensus around the best approach.
  • Clear Communication: You communicate proactively and with clarity — both with customers and internally. You keep stakeholders informed, flag risks early, and can translate complex operational situations into crisp updates.
  • Coaching and Relationship Building: You enjoy teaching people new technology in an approachable manner and building collaborative relationships with customers during Go Lives and ongoing support.
  • Product Mastery: You invest in building deep knowledge of the M7 platform and are always looking for ways to contribute to the team's ways of working — whether through improving playbooks, sharing what you're learning, or helping teammates level up.
  • Travel: You enjoy traveling to provide in-person support. This role involves substantial travel when implementing with new customers — typically 2 times per month, with trips of 2–3 days each.
  • Attitude and Culture: You operate with radical ownership and urgency — you see what needs doing, you pick it up, and you don't let go until it creates real value. You practice "strong opinions, loosely held", lead with kindness toward customers and teammates, and hold yourself to a high bar: done means the customer felt it. You're passionate about M7's mission and show it every day.
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience implementing new technologies or processes — candidates with experience running a well-coordinated, clearly communicated implementation program are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in professional services, sales, or customer success — candidates with experience developing and maintaining relationships in consulting, sales, or customer success roles are encouraged to apply.
  • A passion for healthcare and/or experience in healthcare settings — we value candidates who have first-hand experience at the bedside or working in a healthcare setting.
Hybrid Environment

This is a remote role. We believe a regular cadence of in-person collaboration accelerates learning, reinforces team culture, and drives efficiency for early-stage companies. In this spirit, we have an office in Manhattan that our customer team is always welcome to use — but given the travel demands of this role, most of the team works remotely. Candidates should expect to work Eastern Time hours during the standard work day.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers industry-competitive compensation, including cash compensation, equity, and healthcare benefits.

Equal Opportunity Employer

At M7 Health, we aim to foster a workplace free from discrimination. We believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds leads to a better environment for our people and a better product for our clients. M7 Health is an equal-opportunity employer and encourages all applicants from every background and life experience to apply.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
