Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Position Description

The Senior Manager of Business Operations will support the Senior Vice President (SVP) and leadership team, focusing on ensuring operational rigor in running the business and supporting growth and transformation initiatives. This role will manage key aspects of the rhythm of the business, assist with executive communications, and help communicate and execute critical global initiatives within the SVP’s team. The role supports our Product, Automotive, Consumer Goods & Energy (PACE) Operating Unit.

This role will work closely with internal partners—including the Sales OU’s and the COO org—acting as a key liaison to ensuring alignment between central strategy and field execution.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Executive Support
  • Executive Rhythm of the Business: Manage the logistics and content development for the All Hands Call (ATC) and Staff Meetings for the SVP and VP+ leaders. This includes setting agendas, curating guest speakers, and developing high-impact content and decks.

  • V2MOM Leadership: Support the end-to-end V2MOM process for the SVP leader, helping to ensure alignment with corporate priorities and effective cascading of goals across the organization.

  • Executive Preparation: Assist in preparing the SVP for key internal and external executive meetings, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary insights, data, and talking points.

Program Leadership & Execution
  • Global Initiative Rollout: Drive internal communications for key global initiatives within the organization. This role will drive communications around critical programs to improve customer health, reduce attrition, and ensure that we align to high standards of operational excellence.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate weekly with key central teams—including COO teams that support CSM and CSAL Delivery, Communications, and Programs—to ensure key messages are being accurately communicated and actioned within the field.

Operations & Analytics
  • Sales & Business Reviews: Lead the preparation of content and updates for decks used in high-stakes Sales meetings (e.g., Empowered OU Leader level). You will work collaboratively with Business Partners to ensure standard Customer Success metrics are communicated accurately and leveraged for data-driven decision making.

Required Skills/Experience
  • Operational Leadership: 5+ years of professional experience, with a strong background in business operations, strategy, or program management in a SaaS environment.

  • Professional Communication: Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with management and senior leaders (VPs) and provide data-driven input to influence decision-making.

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to distill complex operational details into compelling leadership presentations (Google Slides) for executive audiences.

  • Operational Rigor: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to analyze poorly defined areas, work with leadership to align around recommendations, and drive process improvements.

  • Agility: Comfort with ambiguity and a motivated, solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce organization and products (e.g., Agentforce, Tableau, Data Cloud).

  • Ability to quickly ramp on collaboration technologies (Google Workspace, SmartSheet, Quip, Slack).

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
