The Test Lead oversees manual and automated testing of enterprise applications, ensuring product quality through planning, execution, and reporting of test activities.
The Test Lead is responsible for manual and automated testing of enterprise applications to ensure product quality and usability. In this position, you will work closely with utility clients and implementation teams to understand scope, functionality and system design to develop comprehensive test coverage while maintaining testing metrics and report status. This position can be based in any major US City and requires up to 80% travel.

- Lead the team to perform Functional, System Integration, Performance and Regression testing.
- Develop test plans and test cases, traceability metrics and leverage automated testing frameworks to improve software quality and increase speed of delivery.
- Supervise all testing activities
- Work closely with clients and implementation teams to understand the product roadmap, features, user stories and acceptance criteria to develop test plans and test cases
- Analyze requirements and system design and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence the design and development for testability
- Work with automation developers to develop, maintain and execute automated system and regression test suites
- Work closely with the Business to support UAT
- Maintain test environments and coordinate test environment usage with other teams as necessary
- Create, maintain and report testing metrics with a passion to constantly improve product quality and usability
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred.
- At least 4 years’ experience working in software consulting or product development
- 4+ years of experience in Functional as well as automation testing
- Good exposure of Test Automation framework
- Good experience in test processes and deliverables
- Exposure to database basics and SQL queries
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology and related tools like JIRA
- Exposure to Management Tools like ALM
- Good client facing skills and ability to coordinate with teams from different geographical locations
- Experience utilizing the complete Software Development Lifecycle implementing packaged software solutions
- Experience implementing Oracle Utilities applications within the utility industry
- Experience testing Customer Information System (CIS), Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), and/or Meter Data Management (MDM) application within the energy industry
- Development experience with JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#.NET, VB.NET, and PL/SQL
