Description

We are Purcell Tire And Service Centers – We are everywhere on I-5. Aggressive on OTR, Heavy in mining, construction, and Ag. We are BIG on OTR + commercial, BUT we do retail + retread with locations in Renton, Lacey, and Monroe.

What You’ll Do:

- Own a protected territory

- 95% face-to-face selling to commercial fleets, construction, and logging outfits

- Build your own route: 5-8 stops/day

- Move inventory, push programs, and aged stock before it kills margin

- Be the technical resource customers trust

- Know DOT codes, load range, wear patterns

- If you can’t talk shop, this might not be for you

What You Bring:

You already know the customers from Olympia to Bellingham

- 2+ years outside sales in commercial/OTR tires, truck parts, lubricants, or heavy equip

- You understand why a fleet manager cares about cost-per-mile, not just price-per-tire

- Book of business is a plus, but not required

- Valid driver’s license + 3-year clean record (no DUIs)

- Ability to pass background and drug screen

What We Bring:

- $75k-$90k guarantee, with uncapped commission

- $150k-$220k realistic - Top rep last year W-2’d $500k

- We’ll give you min 10 warm accounts on day 1, but your paycheck comes from hunting

- Company truck + gas card + ipad + phone

- No mileage logs

- Protected accounts

- Real inventory + allocation. If we say we have it, we have it

- Home every night. Occasional weekend fleet checks, otherwise M-F

- Medical, dental, 401k match, PTO

The tire business is small - Reputation matters. If you’re the rep customers actually want to see, let’s talk. If you’re looking for an “order-taking” route, this isn’t it.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
