We are seeking an experienced Paid Media Manager who can own the strategy, execution, and performance optimization of paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. This role is critical to driving measurable growth for our clients, and demands both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

This candidate would ideally have e-commerce in their blood — someone who lives and breathes running paid media campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Facebook. They should be highly hands-on in their execution, with strong depth in their specialty rather than trying to be a jack of all trades, while still having a good understanding of surrounding areas. Preference is for someone who directly owns the work rather than acting as a front-facing communicator who outsources tasks to a behind-the-scenes team. We're not looking for an agency model or someone managing lower-cost resources; we want an individual who brings both high aptitude and personal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development & Execution:

    • Own the end-to-end development, execution, and optimization of paid media strategies across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Programmatic, Display, and Remarketing platforms.

    • Manage product feeds and technical setups for Google Shopping and ecommerce campaigns.

    • Lead media planning efforts based on client KPIs, business goals, and audience segmentation strategies.

  • Performance Management:

    • Monitor and optimize campaigns daily to achieve ROAS, CPA, and revenue targets.

    • Analyze performance metrics and create actionable insights to improve campaign results.

    • Scale media budgets effectively — managing accounts from as small as $3K/month to $150K+/month.

  • Technical Execution:

    • Oversee proper tracking implementation (Google Tag Manager, Pixel setups, Conversion APIs, etc.).

    • Ensure product feed health, troubleshooting and optimizing feeds for Shopping campaigns.

    • Coordinate programmatic and CTV buys (bonus) through platforms like The Trade Desk or managed services when applicable.

  • Creative Direction:

    • Collaborate with creative teams to guide ad production based on performance insights (messaging, format, imagery, video lengths).

    • Request specific creative optimizations to continuously improve engagement and conversion rates.

  • Client Communication & Reporting:

    • Present campaign strategies, performance reports, and optimizations directly to clients.

    • Build client confidence through clear communication of media results, opportunities, and next steps.

  • Cross-Channel Collaboration:

    • Coordinate with SEO, Affiliate, and Email teams to ensure full-funnel marketing alignment.

    • Contribute to broader client strategy planning beyond paid media when needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience managing paid media campaigns, ideally within an ecommerce-focused agency environment.

  • Deep platform expertise including but not limited to:

    • Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube)

    • Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram)

    • TikTok Ads

    • Remarketing Platforms (AdRoll, Criteo)

    • Programmatic and Display Placements

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and attribution models.

  • Demonstrated success managing a range of budgets (from $3K to $150K+ per month).

  • Ability to thrive under performance-driven goals and adapt quickly to platform changes.

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, especially around budgets, billing, and pacing.

  • Proactive communicator with excellent client-facing presentation skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with Connected TV (CTV) advertising.

  • Experience working with Shopify and BigCommerce ecommerce ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools to improve paid media management efficiency.
