Paid Search Specialist

Fat Earth, Red Antler's creative performance marketing partner, is looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis to manage and optimize campaigns across Google’s advertising ecosystem. In this role, you’ll manage the planning and execution of campaigns across Google Ads products—including Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, Performance Max and Discovery—to drive measurable performance for a variety of growth-focused clients. 

As a Paid Search Specialist, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day campaign management tasks such as keyword research, audience segmentation, bid adjustments, and performance analysis. You’ll work closely with Account Executives  and creative teams to contribute to full-funnel growth strategies while continuing to grow your platform expertise and strategic thinking.

The ideal candidate has significant experience with Google Ads and is detail-oriented, data-driven, and excited to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and execution of advertising strategies using Google Ads, Google Shopping, YouTube, Display Network, and other Google properties based on client goals
  • Manage and optimize campaigns across multiple client accounts, focusing on performance, pacing, and goal alignment
  • Conduct keyword research, build campaign structures, and segment audiences to ensure efficient targeting and ROI
  • Monitor daily campaign performance, proactively flag issues, and implement optimizations to improve results
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams on ad copy and creative assets that align with strategy and platform best practices
  • Set up conversion tracking and ensure campaign data is accurate and actionable
  • Participate in A/B testing of creative, targeting, and landing pages to identify areas of opportunity
  • Stay current on new Google Ads features and platform updates, bringing fresh ideas to campaign planning
  • Assist with creating regular performance reports and insights to share with internal teams and clients

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns across Google Ads platforms (Search, Shopping, Display, etc.)
  • Google Ads certification preferred
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads Editor
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from data and translate them into actionable recommendations
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly share ideas and performance findings
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and clients
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and excited to grow in a fast-moving environment
