*This is a remote opportunity open to current college students enrolling in an internship course for college credit 


Position Title: Paid Social Intern

Internship Term: Fall 2026

Compensation: College credit [MUST be enrolled in college course]

Desired Fields of Study: Marketing, Advertising, Social Media, IMC, Graphic Design, or Journalism and Media Studies

Hours Desired: 15-20/week

 

A day in the life:

  • Have you ever been scrolling through Instagram and stopped on a post that says “sponsored” under the brand name and wondered how it showed up on your feed? Have you ever seen an influencer posting about a brand and wanted to know how and why they have to mention “#ad”? Well, do we have the internship for you! Come learn all about the exciting world of Paid Social Media Advertising from the ground up. You will learn about ad buying, writing copy to match creative for each stage of the funnel, communicating with clients, and so much more! 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and managing paid social media campaigns across platforms like Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct a competitor analysis to identify trends and/or opportunities for improvement in paid social strategies for various brands.
  • Assist with copywriting for paid advertising campaigns, ensuring the copy is both engaging and on-brand.
  • Help build and structure paid advertising campaigns across various paid social platforms ( Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn).
  • Support with reporting and analyzing campaign performance data to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Stay on top of social media and digital marketing trends in order to suggest innovative ideas on how to improve a brand's performance.
  • Participate in paid social-specific training opportunities to deepen your knowledge and expertise in paid advertising. 
  • Participate in coffee chats with other department leaders and cross-channel learning opportunities.

 

Role Requirements:

  • You’re not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and tinkering with an account
  • You’re not afraid of challenges and asking questions
  • You’re detail-oriented and pay close attention to design/creative
  • You’re a team player and have a passion for the digital marketing sphere
  • A background in photo/video editing is a plus, but not required
